Caregiver Fairs

Exhibits and Informative Presentations are Part of the Area Agency on Aging 1-B Caregiver Fair

Each fall the Area Agency on Aging 1-B presents our signature event, the Solutions for Family Caregiver Expo, which will take place on Saturday, October 15, 2011 at the Suburban Collection Showplace in Novi, Michigan.  Click here for details.

The agency also  participates in the planning of the Monroe County Caregiver Fair, hosted by the Monroe County Aging Consortium.  The Monroe County Caregiver Fair typically takes place in early October.

These events are excellent resources for caregivers.  Each offers presentations on important topics, such as dementia, housing options, legal tips, fall prevention, stress management, accessing local resources, and more.  In addition, the events have a large exhibitor area where attendees can visit with representatives from organizations to learn more about services and resources available to help them with their caregiving needs.
